Guitar String Jewelry

Several years ago, when Janice was attending a live blues performance in New Orleans, the guitar player broke a string, which found its way into her hands. She discovered that she could make bracelets from guitar strings and bass strings, which she has given to friends and family. Friends have brought strings to her, that they used while performing in a significant event or competition, which she made into jewelry that can forever have a special meaning for them. Since then, Janice has created bracelets, earrings, and necklaces, which she decided to try her luck at selling. And so, Bling & Strings was born.
Janice often donates her jewelry pieces to various fund-raisers for use as raffle or auction items, and she loves doing something so enjoyable that goes to a good cause. She says that something about the whole creative process just feeds her soul.
All Janice’s jewelry is created by hand, using Nick and Danielle's used guitar and bass strings, semi-precious stones and sterling silver or gold overlay beads. To Janice, the strings seem to have their own energy.
Since they are all custom made, none of Janice’s pieces are alike. Each is unique. If you see something you like but it is marked as sold, please email her, as there is a good chance she can make you something very similar.
Janice is a native Texan, but has lived in Kansas City, MO for over a year, and is proud to call it home.
